Baseline approaches, tool and baseline comparison webinar recording
The V4SAFETY webinar series shares the project’s final results across several topical sessions, each addressing a key theme.
This webinar - which took place on 29 July - explained how to turn data into a representative baseline for evaluating safety measures, considering different baseline approaches, addressing potential biases, outlining practical constraints and conclusions about the validity and limitations of comparing baselines. Felix Fahrenkrog [BMW Group], Christoph Glasmacher [ika - RWTH Aachen University] and Henri Chajmowicz [LAB PSA / RENAULT] focused on the simulation preparation part out of the V4SAFETY framework (SAF), and more specifically on how to select the right baseline approach, as well as the right models and suitable data for the selected approach. They elaborated on the baseline generation process and the comparison of baselines and simulation tools for assessment results.
