Putting the Safety Assessment Framework to the test
Successful Stakeholder Workshop on V4SAFETY's Safety Assessment Framework
On Wednesday 6 November - following the General Assembly - V4SAFETY hosted a Stakeholder Workshop, bringing together industry and research professionals to test our draft Safety Assessment Framework (SAF).
Participants engaged in one-hour sessions, exploring various steps of the framework through a specific use case. Although the condensed format didn’t allow for every detail to be covered, the structure and clarity of our Instructions document received positive feedback. Attendees found the templates particularly useful in guiding them through the process, with the Instructions document serving as an essential reference.
While there were critical comments on several framework steps, highlighting areas for improvement, these insights are invaluable as we’ve moved into the final year of our project. Additionally, we unveiled our first interactive tool, which was praised for enhancing the navigability of the comprehensive document.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants for their hard work and constructive feedback, which will be instrumental in refining the SAF.
