Three EU-funded projects invite you to register for their joint webinar on 27 February; 14:00-15:30.

PHOEBE, SOTERIA and V4SAFETY are organising a joint webinar for you to learn about our objectives and approaches, which we will implement over the duration of our projects. The three sister projects were selected in the same call to provide innovative solutions to promote urban road safety.

We invite you to register for this webinar on 27 February, 14:00-15:30 (Zoom) here.

It’s an urban jungle out there - whether you are a pedestrian, cyclist, person with reduced mobility or car driver. All of these groups are engaging with each other on a daily basis on the urban streets of European cities, which are dangerous areas, as nearly 7500 (or 40% of) road fatalities were recorded in urban areas.

Road safety is traditionally often focusing on high visibility of active mobility users, a car-centric traffic policy and restructuring of urban space. Whereas SOTERIA and PHOEBE are aiming to provide tools to city administrations, V4SAFETY mainly takes the perspective of the motorized vehicle and will set up a framework for the assessment of in-vehicle safety solutions, regulatory solutions and infrastructure-based solutions.

All three projects help to predict potentially dangerous traffic scenarios for (vulnerable) road users within different situations.
Join us to hear more about our ambitious plans and how, each in our own way, we will cover a relevant part of the research asked for in this Horizon Europe call.
